Join Sonoma Ecology Center for an immersive journey through the Keen property, a stunning conservation easement safeguarded by Sonoma County Ag + Open Space since 2002. This hike offers views of ancient lava flows, native plants, and sweeping vistas of the surrounding Mayacamas Mountains.
This hike traverses fire-affected terrain, offering a unique opportunity to witness the region’s ecological resilience and regeneration following the 2017 wildfires. With steep inclines and uneven paths, this adventure is best suited for experienced hikers.
Prepare for a day of exploration by wearing long pants and sturdy footwear, and don’t forget to bring plenty of water. Discover the beauty and endurance of Sonoma County’s wild spaces on this unforgettable trek.
